III° Gara Ufficiale del Palio

Ore 19.30 INGRESSO LIBERO
Il Gruppo Collegio arte e danza di Seveso, sotto la regia di Giusi Bizzozzero, presenta lo spettacolo di danze medievali: “Acqua del Destino”

 

Ore 20.30 con partenza dalla Piazza Medaglie d’Oro attraverso Via Vittorio Emanuele, la coppia imperiale, le autorità civili, i capitani, assieme a tutti gli atleti partecipanti alla gara e gli sbandieratori e musici lariani giungeranno in piazza duomo dove si svolgerà l’ultima gara valida per l’assegnazione del Palio, “Il tiro alla fune” che deciderà la classifica finale dei partecipanti al Palio 2008. Si può star sicuri che i giganteschi e nerboruti tiratori non si risparmieranno cercando di portar nel proprio borgo, contrada o comune l’ambito Drappo. Alla fine della gara avrà luogo la consueta premiazione degli atleti.

The shooting to the rope, the 3rd official competition of the Palio

The Ensemble College of arts and dance from Seveso, under the direction of Giusi Bizzozzero, is performing a show of medieval dances called “Waters of the Destiny”.

 

At 20,30

Starting from the “Piazza Medaglie d’Oro” and through Via Vittorio Emanuele, the Imperial Couple, the Civil Authorities, the captains, the athletes taking part to the competitions, the flag-wavers and the lariani musicians will arrive at the Cathedral Square where the last official competition will take place: the shooting to the rope. This one will decide the final results for the participants  to the Palio 2008. You can be sure that the big and powerful shots will not spare themselves trying, in this way, to get the much-desired drape for their own town, suburb or district. At the end of the competition, as usual, you will be able to see the prize-giving ceremony for the athletes.
